Welcome to the blog

For those of you coming from our caringbridge site, WELCOME to the new format. For those of you who are new, you may find some of the first posts to be a bit confusing if you don't know the background of our story. You can visit caringbridge.org and type in lucyweber1 to read our past history. Basically, we are doing a new site to allow pictures, more content, and quite frankly to make it more user friendly so I am not typing something in Team Lucy on FB and then re typing it on caringbridge. And I know a lot of followers, don't read FB, so this will help to share pictures easier too.

So our name really does explain it all. We have 2 kids, a dog named Taco, and cancer that consumes 99% of our life. All while trying to stay "normal" and work. We are a bit on the eccentric side, and use humor in pretty much all uncomfortable situations, sometimes not appropriate situations....just to warn you.

We are the Webers, and having been faced with the horrible news that our little girl has leukemia feel like we need to share our story to help other families going through a similar situation and to spread the word about our wonderful home away from home...St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
